Yesterday, we went to a book premiere unlike any other. A love story brought to life with dance and words inhabited through the writers and two actors - a journey in three languages. Images flashed before us — some familiar, echoes of a childhood as migrant children, others foreign and harsh, showing war and suffering. Afterward, we talked to some of the real people from the book. Hearing their versions was deeply moving. It was a night that struck deep, simple, and true. Thank you, @vanessa_vu & @ahmad_katlesh, for sharing this vulnerable moment with the world. ❤️ Whoever didn’t have the chance to experience the premiere or wish to explore the book further (sorry for the poor sound quality here 😅) and in a more intimate setting, is welcome at our book launch party next week. Within this interactive exhibition, we invite participants to engage and discuss the fine line between art, sexuality and objectification.
